Leonie Oelker Weisser  

(1890-1978)

Leonie Weisser was born in Four Oaks, Texas in 1890. She was a painter who was well-known for her landscapes with Texas wildflowers. She was a member of the Southern States Art League, and her works were exhibited at the Edgar B. Davis Competition, the Society of Independent Artists, and the Southern States Art League. She died in New Braunfels, Texas in 1978.
