June Claire Wayne

June Wayne was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1918. She is a painter and printmaker well-known for her expressionist works. She is a self taught artist and is a member of The National Association of Women Artists, and is involved in The WPA/ Federal Arts Projects. Her works have been exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art, New York; The National Association of Women Artists; Pennsylvania Academy; and The Whitney Museum of American Art.
