Jack MacCartney
(1893-1976)
Jack MacCartney was a painter born in San Francisco, California in 1893. He studied under his father Harry C. MacCartney, Arthur Beaumont, Eliot O’Hara, Edgar Payne, Sam Hyde Harris, and William McDermitt. He was a member of the Laguna Beach Art Association and Art and Artists of the Southwest. His works have been exhibited in the Laguna Beach Museum of Art. He died in 1976.
