Walter Cole (1881-1965)
Walter Cole was an illustrator and printmaker who was born in 1881. He was well-know for his works with military subjects. He was taught by Walt Kuhn and studied at Académie Julian in Paris, and the Art Students League of New York. He was a member of the St. Augustine Arts Club and his works have been exhibited at the National Academy of Design. He lived in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, New York and Florida. He died in 1965.
